Enable flexible working

There’s a big drive for flexible working: it's important that businesses have continuity in the face of obstacles. Employees may need to work at home for a number of reasons, whether unexpected or expected. So there is pressure on businesses, especially in the public sector, to provide this as cultural norms shift towards more flexible working environments.

A combination of desktop virtualisation and application virtualisation means that users can access their applications from anywhere. Under a "Bring your own computer" (BYOC) subsidy scheme, you can allow your employees to buy their own PCs and simply supply the applications, so the business saves on costs. A flexible workforce is also a happier and more productive one.
